Gunslinger relies more on kiting and mobility while reloading and damage are a main drawback as well as aiming from long distances.
The boss wave trump card is a eviscerator zerk, i would rather have 1 zerk with a eviscerator that knows how to play than 2 railguns, or a Gunslinger instead of a railgun user, simply because the gunslinger can kite the boss very easily. There's a lot of differences in play style between a gunslinger and a sharpshooter, gunslinger is better to run around the map, kiting and killing, sharpshooter is the one that just crouch around and deals massive amount of damage, you will know how powerful a sharpshooter is when you freeze a scrake and kill it with a single magazine of the Winchester (Initial garbage weapon of the sharpshooter), now, try to kill a big zed with the initial weapon of any other class and you're gonna have a hard time, different from the sharpshooter. no, Railgun is best used against scrakes and FP, a Gunslinger can take big zeds down easily but it takes some time and skill because you have to be sure that your entire magazine hits the scrake/fleshpound head, different from the sharpshooter that can just aim 1 shoot and kill, the sharpshooter can EASILY kill big zeds one after another within a short time, 1 shot a scrake here, aim at the other, 1shot, he can also freeze big zeds.
